Debbie Reilly - RGN. ITEC. Dip. MRI Monty Roberts Instructor 2000 - 2004
Background
Debbie’s love of horses started when she was 5 years old, developing through the Pony Club and into competitive eventing. However she found her true vocation when she first came across Monty Roberts’ non-violent methods of communication for both horses and people in 1996. Experience as a Staff Nurse and Massage Therapist has given her a unique understanding of the benefits of this work. The essence of which is based on a clear understanding of equine behaviour, psychology & communication from ground work & the ‘starting’ process to ridden work & remedial issues.
Trained Monty Roberts Instructor Debbie has been fortunate to work with a variety of top class trainers and equine behaviour specialists and also spent time teaching at the Monty Roberts International Learning Centre in California, USA. Now, Debbie has developed the "Understanding Equus" philosophy where she is using her unique perspective to help people with their own horses - promoting the importance of working together with a holistic approach to engage effective channels of communication between horse & rider.
